News Updating Around The World!

NEARLY A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL - This Saturday will fianlly bring us to one of the most fun theme nights that we've ever done - Disney Night! That's where all of the performers choose their favorite Disney characters to dance around on stage for your amusement. Just looking at the cast line-up will give you a viewing on just how amazing this show is going to be. Along with the cast, there will be a costume contest for the audience with prizes for all of the top three finalists. That means that all of you will need to come in your best (and stage appropriate) version of a Disney character outfit if you want a chance at winning any of those lovely prizes. Even if you don't dress up, we would love to have you at the show. So be there or we'll send Tatro to find you!

DOWNTOWN WILL BE ROCKING BIG TIME - The Caste will be making a big return to our original hometown this August in a way that we never thought possible. On August 22nd, we'll be performing as part of the Cinema San Pedro festival in downtown San Jose. This is a weekly free movie showing right out on the street and it sounds like a whole lot of fun. There will be all kinds of refreshments on offer for you to enjoy and you can feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair to relax in. We'll be doing our regular amazing show right in front of the screen which means that we'll be running around downtown San Jose in our underware. The preshow begins at 8pm with the film starting right around dusk. You don't want to miss this because it'll be all kinds of fun for everyone.

NEVADA BOUND IN A MONTH - It's taking forever but soon we will be returning to the lovely city of Reno for our yearly summer show. While we don't get to be part of the official ArTown Festival line-up, we will be continuing the festival in spirit. This year's show will see us moving on up big time with a new venue of the Lawlor Event Center on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno. The Caste never thought that our show would get big enough to need to move into a place like that and we are very proud of being so popular. We have and will always be grateful for all of the people that come every year to see the show. If you're in the Reno area on August 25th, then you really need to head over for all of the free fun.

DOING THE SHOW IN HALF MOON BAY - For those of you that missed the show this weekend, you missed the announcement of our resident Riff and MC Jared being cast in "The Rocky Horror Show"! He auditioned and they want him as their Eddie for the run of the show. It is scheduled to go July 27 - August 18 at the Coastal Repertory Theatre in lovely Half Moon Bay and you can be sure that there will be many BCers up there to join in all of the fun. To see the official site for the theatre, be sure to check out their official site.
